ArcGIS for Local Government includes a series of free maps and applications designed for local government use, including by Clerk of Court and Supervisor of Elections offices. Many of these resources available in ArcGIS Online may be quickly stood up as-is or customized to suit individual client needs. BHA has worked with Clerk and Elections offices to develop their existing ArcGIS Online Accounts to configure and build maps and apps that help them display and share important information to the public. Some of these applications include searchable web maps showing election results, polling places, polling place wait times, and commission districts.

Many of these resources available in ArcGIS Online may be quickly stood up or customized to suit specific needs. BHA has worked with clients to build a variety of applications that support emergency management, including a functional needs application which provides the public a convenient interface to report special needs for emergency responders' use; a road closure application so that citizens can easily search road closing in the event of an emergency; a flood zone map for the public to search flood zone areas, and an emergency shelter locator.

BHA has configured a series of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) extensions for ArcGIS for Desktop that streamline the mapping process. The extensions are installed directly onto clients’ systems, and services include training for pertinent staff.
Farmland/cauv assessment services
BHA offers a range of farmland and CAUV assessment services for accurately calculating assessment values through GIS. Our Farmland Assessment Tools are an extension to ArcGIS for Desktop that use ArcGIS geoprocessing tools to accurately and precisely calculate areas of agricultural land use and soil types to generate a detailed report of the value of the parcels’ agricultural use. BHA can also provide land use digitization and creation, training, and calculation services. Digital calculations are loaded directly into client databases, thus eliminating manual data entry.
