Steve Koenig

Customer Engineer

Mr. Koenig provides consultation and technical support to clients on all aspects of GIS project implementation, and attends all pertinent meetings and functions regarding the use of GIS. He also assists with software installation, geodatabase management, and product delivery.

Education

Mr. Koenig has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography with a minor in Geology from Bowling Green State University.

Professional History

Prior to working for Bruce Harris & Associates, Mr. Koenig worked for six years as a GIS analyst/specialist for Geotrac, Inc, in the flood compliance industry. His responsibilities included improving and maintaining a digital flood zone database for the entire United States. Other responsibilities included performing high level studies on the company's automation processes, using address geocoding techniques and spatial analysis.

Also at Geotrac, Mr. Koenig worked on the design and modeling framework for their SDE implementation project. His responsibilities for this project included data conversion, database structure requirements, and GIS applications migration.
