Jon Cross

GIS Account Manager

Mr. Cross' primary responsibility is to establish and maintain new accounts in the Ohio and Michigan Region. This includes the coordination and sales of aerial photography, geographic information systems, soil mapping, cadastral mapping projects and the promotion of all company services.

Education

Mr. Cross attended Terra Community College studying Robotics, Mechanical Engineering and CAD Concepts. He has completed several certificate courses at Bowling Green State University (Firelands Campus) as well as ESRI certificate courses.

Professional History

Mr. Cross has over 15 years experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems. He held the position of Department Head with a multi-discipline, multi-state engineering firm for 9 of the 15 years, during which time he worked on the City of Cleveland, Ohio's enterprise-wide GIS implementation project, serving as project manager for his firm's tasks. He has experience with water, sanitary and storm sewer GIS as well as supervised the GIS technicians during the Cleveland Public Power Electrical conversion task of the project. He also worked on the Northeast Ohio Area-wide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) pavement assessment project, North East Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD's) CVI hydraulic modeling project and Wayne County, Michigan's planimetric project.

Prior to the engineering firm, Mr. Cross was with Geotrac, a flood compliance company, where Mr. Cross held the positions of GIS technician, GIS Programmer, Senior GIS Engineer and Director of GIS Development.
